original story: STRATFORD, Conn. — A two-car crash was blocking the right lane of the Merritt Parkway in Stratford on a snowy Monday afternoon, the Connecticut Department of Transportation reported.
The accident, which occurred on the southbound Merritt between Exits 53 and 52, was reported at 4:25 p.m., DOT said. The crash occurred as heavy snow began to fall in the area.
It was not clear how long it would take to clear the roadway.
