Stratford Nursing Home Fined By Department Of Public Health

STRATFORD, Conn. -- The state Department of Public Health has fined four nursing homes by at least $1,000 due to residents being cut, abused or neglected, according to a story on ctpost.com.

Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was fined $1,020 after a resident fell out of a lift.

According to ctpost.com, Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, of Stratford, was among the four homes fined. The center was fined $1,020 for a June 5 incident in which a resident sustained a cut while falling out of a lift, the story said.
