Runway Work Resumes At Sikorsky Airport In Stratford

STRATFORD, Conn. -- Work will resume on a runway safety project at Sikorsky Memorial Airport following a nine-month delay, according to the Connecticut Post.

The FAA ban since Labor Day last year was lifted Tuesday after a site inspection, the Connecticut Post reported.

The airport will have to do without one of two runways through late in the summer or at the beginning of fall, said the Connecticut Post.
