Parking Ban Enacted In Stratford To Allow For Snowplows

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — One transfer station is closed and two cities have enacted parking bans due to the snowfall across Fairfield County on Monday.

Here are the details: 

  • STRATFORD: The town has enacted a parking ban as public works crews work to clear the town’s streets. Residents should park on the even side of a street or off the road entirely to allow town crews to clear the roads.
  • TRUMBULL: The Town of Trumbull has issued a parking ban effective at noon today, Monday, Feb. 8. The ban will remain in effect until crews have cleared the roads.
  • BRIDGEPORT: Due to snowy weather, the Bridgeport Transfer Station is closed on Monday.
