Matt White was in the middle of writing a ticket in Baldwin Center when he heard shouting, and assumed it was somebody mad about the ticket, according to News 12. When he realized that it was something else, he ran to the nearby bocce court and saw a man had collapsed and had stopped breathing, News 12 reported.
Along with Officer Maria McAvoy, White used an automated external defibrillator and CPR to revive the man, according to News 12. THe man, whose name was Louie, had suffered a heart attack, News 12 reported.
