STRATFORD, Conn. – A former teacher who had sex with a 12-year-old boy she was tutoring got two years behind bars and 10 years of probation when she was sentenced for her crimes Friday in Bridgeport Superior Court, according to a report by StratfordStar.com.
Michelle Sulzicki, who taught at Chapel Street School, pleaded guilty in August to second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child in the case, StratfordStar.com reported.
Sulzicki, who now has to register as a sex offender, was 25 when she began a three-year relationship with the pre-teen victim, according to the StratfordStar.com article.
Sulzicki, who apologized in court, was fired by the school district last fall, the StratfordStar.com report said.
