Volunteers help with crafts, displays and games for children. The library also needs teen volunteers interested in building and decorating items for the summer technology fair, helping with the Harry Potter midnight launch and reporting on library events.

Volunteers schedule their own hours and should plan to work at least five hours during the summer.

To apply, teens may call the Children’s Department to make an appointment to speak to the librarians about orientation dates no later than Thursday, June 16. The program is limited to 55 volunteers.

For questions, call 203-385-4165 or email childrens@stratfordlibrary.org.
