“Play It Again, Square One” will be held in the library's Lovell Room and is free and open to the public. Coffee and tea will be served.

For the June 7 session, Square One Artistic Director Tom Holehan, General Manager Richard Pheneger and cast members will lead a discussion of the theatre’s recent play, “Motherhood Out Loud."

The play is a collection of comic and poignant vignettes from a series of playwrights devoted to the joy, pain and struggles of parenting.

The comedy serves as the theatre’s final production of its 26th anniversary season, now located on the stage of Stratford Academy. As a bonus, “surprise vignettes” not included in the Square One production will be performed by cast members.

"Play It Again, Square One" is a drama discussion series that looks at recent productions by Stratford’s Square One Theatre Company and offers patrons the opportunity to explore and discuss aspects of the play they saw.

According to Friends Co-Presidents Angela McKelvy and Francesca Hayes, the series continues to fill a void for theatergoers.

“The first 10 years of the series proved to be a great success. We are grateful to Tom Holehan, the actors and the Stratford Library for helping us bring this unique program to our members and the theatergoing public.”
