Stratford Looking To Bring In New Businesses To Revive Downtown

STRATFORD, Conn. -- Stratford town leaders are aggressively welcoming new businesses into the downtown area with the goal of creating a "high-density, walkable" downtown, Westfair Online reported.

They have created a new transit-oriented zoning district to speed along downtown redevelopment, and they are pushing to bring in 32 new businesses to town, according to Westfair Online.

Town leaders are also remaking the streetscape around the Stratford Train Station to make it more visually pleasing, the story said.
