Scoop Up Some Sweet Treats At New Stratford Ice Cream Parlor

STRATFORD, Conn. — They may not be opening until later this month, but Paradice Cream, a new sweet shop on Main Street, is already creating a buzz on social media.

The shop, which officially opens at noon on May 25, recently announced Nancy Baird Russo won a contest to name one of its new signature treats — the Paradise Blast.

Located at 3600 Main Street on busy Paradise Green, the shop will cater to teens with sundaes named for Stratford and Bunnell high schools and decorations celebrating the schools’ colors.

Paradice Cream will feature both hard and soft ice cream, penny candy, coffee, tea and hot chocolate and Foxon sodas.
