A Chicago-based manufacturer that makes the next generation of them has leased space in Stratford.

Foto Master, a manufacturer of interactive entertainment and photo booths, is opening its first manufacturing facility in Connecticut at 40 Mead St., according to Jon Angel, president of Angel Commercial, a real estate firm involved in the lease.

They’ve leased more than 9,000 square feet in an industrial building on about a half-acre.

“It is exciting to have helped bring a new innovative manufacturer to Connecticut,” Angel said. “The building was recently fully renovated, which included electrical upgrades, a new heating system, roof replacement, paving and painting.”

Founded in 2011, Foto Master is a pioneer in the event and entertainment industry servicing clients worldwide. They provide interactive products for parties, entertainment centers, theme parks, museums and the retail market.

The firm’s Mirror Me Booth encourages guests to use colorful animations and voice suggestions for a “magical, interactive ‘selfie’ experience,” according to the company website.

Their Air Graffiti Wall allows guests to create virtual graffiti on a digital wall using infrared spray cans.
