The Stamford Mayor's Office reported snow depths of over 18 inches in northern areas of the city and 14 to 16 inches downtown. The heavy wind conditions were making it hard to clear and hard to estimate.
City officials expected it could take 35 to 40 hours to have all roads cleared.

The city also reported that Stamford EMS was available for emergencies in Stamford and Darien. Call 911 for assistance.
If you need to park downtown, both the Bedford Street and Bell Street parking garages were to be open and free Monday.
