Armed, Dangerous Man Wanted For Broad Daylight Shooting In Bridgeport Police in Bridgeport are asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with a violent assault.  Tomas Elias LaPorte, age 48, of Bridgeport is wanted for the Wednesday, March 8 broad daylight attack of a man at the intersection of State Street & Iranistan Avenue, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police. Police officers responded to the area and located a 52-year-old Bridgeport man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the leg, Gilleran said. Suspect Nabbed In Beating Of Man In Stamford, Police Say A man who allegedly beat another person so badly he remains in the hospital on a ventilator with a brain bleed has been arrested by police. Ohireime Julian Osemobor, age 29, was arrested on Sunday, June 6, by Stamford Police for the violent assault of the 66-year-old man which took place around 10 p.m., on Saturday, May 29, said Stamford PD Captain Richard Conklin. 'It's Time To Surrender': Family Appeals To 23-Year-Old Ex-HS Athlete Wanted For Slayings The family of a college senior who played varsity football in Fairfield County and who is the subject of a massive search by law enforcement for a string of slayings is asking him to surrender. Police began searching for the University of Connecticut student Peter Manfredonia, 23, after State Police say that he was seen leaving the scene of the brutal murder of Thomas DeMers in Willington, on Friday, May 22.
