The department is holding a hiring event at the University of Hartford for students, and members of the public from Monday, Feb. 26 to Thursday, Feb. 29. A school in Fairfield County has selected a new assistant principal who school officials say is more than qualified for the role. Steven Groccia has been named the new Assistant Principal at Cos Cob School, Greenwich Public Schools Superintendent Toni Jones announced on Monday, May 15. A Connecticut university student has been charged after allegedly making a threatening social media post on YikYak. The incident took place at the University of Hartford around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, said the Hartford Police.
