Stamford Health Care Provider Sentenced For Million-Dollar Fraud Scheme A health care provider in Fairfield County will spend time in prison after being found guilty by a federal jury in Connecticut of a million-dollar fraud scheme. Kwasi Gyambibi, of Stamford, was found guilty of two counts of health care fraud-related to fraudulent prescriptions for compound drugs that were submitted to Advantage Pharmacy in March 2015 to the tune of $1.5 million in February last year. UConn Stamford Discusses Expanding Programs At Downtown Campus With enrollment rapidly rising at UConn Stamford, university officials are mulling curriculum expansions for students at its downtown campus. This week, officials from UConn laid out proposals that include four new full degree programs, more faculty members and increased administrative support. Enrollment at the university has swelled from 1,377 in 2012 to nearly 2,000 undergraduate students this year. Jury Finds Stamford Health-Care Provider Guilty Of Fraud A federal jury in Connecticut found a Fairfield County health care provider guilty of a million dollar fraud scheme.
