A 19-year-old Sacred Heart University student has been charged with allegedly being drunk at 10 times the legal limit and driving at 85 mph when he crashed into an Uber carrying four SHU students in Fairfield County. Tyler Delk of South Orange, New Jersey, was arrested for assault with a motor vehicle and other charges on Tuesday, Oct. 24 by Fairfield Police for the Friday, Sept. 29 crash on Jefferson Street. Lt. One of five Sacred Heart University students involved in a horrific two-car crash in Fairfield County that injured six is in a medically induced coma, according to a GoFundMe. The collision took place in the town of Fairfield around 12:05 a.m., Friday, Sept. 29 on Jefferson Street near Sacred Heart's Martire Building.
