Tragedy: 2 Young Children From Fairfield County ID'd After Horrific Fatal Crash
Two children ages 3 and 6 were killed and several people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle Connecticut crash. The crash took place in western New Haven County around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4 in Beacon Falls in the northbound lanes of Route 8. According To Connecticut State Police, a Honda Civic, with two adults and two children, and a Ford F-600 with one adult were traveling in the left lane of two on Route 8 when the Ford ran into the back of the Civic. Driver Killed After Compact SUV Crashes Into Tree On Route 8 In Shelton
A driver was killed in an overnight crash in Fairfield County. It happened around 3:40 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 on Route 8 in Shelton. A 2013 Nissan Rogue was traveling northbound approximately one-quarter mile south of Exit 14 when it left the roadway and entered the roadside where it collided with a tree, Connecticut State Police said. Following impact with the tree, the Rogue caught fire. The driver, whose identity is not yet known, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. Man, Woman Hospitalized After Serious Crash In Fairfield County
State police are seeking witnesses to a serious injury Fairfield County crash that left a man and woman hospitalized. The crash took place around 8:20 p.m., Monday, Aug. 15 in Shelton. According to state police, a Toyota RAV4 was traveling in the right lane of two on Route 8 southbound with a Honda motorcycle following directly behind approximately one-quarter of a mile north of Exit 12. Fairfield County Man Killed In I-91 Crash, State Police Say
A Fairfield County man was killed in a crash on I-91 south after hitting the rear of a commercial vehicle and losing control, authorities said. Jeremy Bischoff, age 34, of Shelton, was killed early Monday, June 27 in New Haven County in Wallingford. Bischoff was driving a 2016 Kia Soul in the center lane on I-91 southbound around 2 a.m. when he hit the back of a commercial vehicle and lost control, said the Connecticut State Police.
