ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train Police have identified the Westchester man who was fatally struck by a Metro-North train near the Beacon station late last week. A Metro-North spokesperson identified 29-year-old Yonkers resident Joseph Lanza as the unauthorized man who was struck and killed by a train at approximately 12:24 p.m. on Thursday, April 5 on the tracks just south of the Beacon station.
