Massive Manhunt For Suspect After Police Captain Shot In New Haven
A massive manhunt is underway following the shooting of a captain in the New Haven Police Department while intervening in an incident while off-duty. Capt. Anthony Duff was shot "more than once," around 9:23 p.m., Monday, Aug. 12, near the area of Henry Street and Dixwell Avenue, said Laurence Grotheer, spokesman for New Haven Mayor Toni Harp.
