Boy, 5, Seen Playing On Roof Sparks Concern In Stamford, Police Say Police aren't sure who was watching a 5-year-old boy seen by a passing motorist on Soundview Avenue climbing out a second-floor window and hopping onto the roof to play. Sgt. Robert Shawinsky said police received the call around 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, but by the time they arrived the child was back inside the home. The caller, who was concerned the child might fall,  told police the boy was going in and out the window and onto a roof to play, Shawinsky said.
