CT Man Nabbed For Fairfield County Bank Robbery
A Connecticut man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a People's Bank in Fairfield County.
Kevin Kelly, age 36, of Guilford in New Haven County, was arrested on Tuesday, May 25 by Shelton Police for the robbery which took place on Tuesday, May 4 at the bank located at 898 Bridgeport Ave., in Shelton, said Detective Christopher Nugent.
During the robbery, Kelly walked into the bank located inside the Stop & Shop store and handed the teller a note and implied that he had a firearm, Nugent said.

Fairfield County Man Accused Of Making False Robbery Claim, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly falsely claiming that he was robbed at gunpoint and his vehicle was stolen.
David Manning, age 34, of Shelton, was arrested on Tuesday, April 6, by Shelton Police for lying about the event which he reported on Monday, March 15, said Detective Richard Bango.
According to Bango, on March 15, Manning called Shelton Police saying he had been robbed at gunpoint by two men on Myrtle Street.
Manning told officers the two men stole his vehicle and his cell phone during the robbery.

Fairfield County Man Busted For Multiple Drug Offenses, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been arrested on mulitple drug charges, according to police.
Trevor Dixon, 33, of Shelton, was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 27, by the Shelton Police following an investigation, said Det. Richard Bango.
Dixon was arrested after police executed a search and seizure warrant at 156 Coram Ave. in Shelton, Bango said.
During the search, warrant detectives seized 47 grams of individually packaged crack cocaine, 25 grams of marijuana, packaging materials and supplies, and $8,300 in cash.

IDs Released For Mother, Son Found Dead Inside Fairfield County Home
A mother and her son were found dead inside a home in Fairfield County.
Police made the discovery around 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 in Shelton on Sorghum Road after performing a welfare check.
On Sunday, Sept. 13, the two were identified as Gale P. Lupe, 79, and her son Michael J. Kramer, 59, according to WTNH, which reported police believe they were the only occupants of the home and that there is no known threat to the public.
A cause of death has not been released.

Second Arrest Made In Rash Of Overnight Thefts From Vehicles
Another person has been arrested in connection with a rash of overnight thefts from vehicles following a lengthy investigation involving multiple police agencies.
Luis Correa, 47, of Bridgeport turned himself into police to Trumbull Police on Thursday, Dec. 5, on a warrant in connection with the burglaries that took place in August, said Trumbull Police Lt. Brian Weir.
Correa, along with another man, Christopher Right, 46, of Shelton, were identified through collaborative efforts with the Shelton Police who were also investigating similar thefts nearby in their town, Weir said.

Pair Of Alleged Car Burglars Nabbed Following Two-Month Investigation
A pair of alleged car burglars were nabbed by police following a two-month investigation.
Christopher Right, 46, of Shelton, and Luis Correa, 47, of Bridgeport, were arrested on Thursday, Oct. 3, for a series of alleged overnight car burglaries during August and September, in the Huntington area of Shelton, said Shelton Police Det. Chris Nugent.
