The Silver Alert was issued on Thursday, April 9, for Brookfield resident Elizabeth Schwartz, whose vehicle was found abandoned in Monroe by police officers early in the day. Ramon Capacete, of Seymour, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 24, in Shelton after police officer John Kekac stopped his vehicle for running a red light on Bridgeport Avenue, said Shelton Police Det.
