Red Lobster Abruptly Closes Dozens Of Restaurants
Fast-casual seafood restaurant Red Lobster has abruptly closed dozens of its restaurants.
The company is also considering filing for bankruptcy protection, according to a CNN report.
On its website, Red Lobster lists many of its restaurants as being "temporarily closed," including these New York locations:
Kingston,
Scarsdale,
Nanuet,
Poughkeepsie,
Stony Brook
No closures are currently listed for Connecticut or Massachusetts restaurants.
Founded in 1968, Red Lobster has around 600 restaurants in the United States, Canada, and overseas.

New Ranking Reveals Top 50 Restaurants Nationwide
Fifty restaurants nationwide have been selected by The New York Times as "restaurants we love most in 2022."
The selections include eateries from Portland, Maine to Eastsound in Washington State, and include restaurants in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Oklahoma, among other states, including two in Nashville, Tennessee, and two in Coral Gables, Florida.
The list was published on Tuesday, Sept. 19.

Hey lobster lovers, especially lobster roll lovers, one of Connecticut's favorite food trucks has been named the state's best by the Eat This, Not That! website.
LobsterCraft, with two food trucks and three shops in Connecticut, in the Town of Fairfield, Greenwich, and in West Hartford, won for its many takes on yummy lobster rolls.
