Fairfield County Student Named Presidential Scholar A high school senior in Fairfield County has been named as one of 161 students nationwide named as a Presidential Scholar. Colin Speaker, of Greenwich High School, was honored for demonstrating leadership, scholarship, and for his contribution to his school and community, the program said.  “We are so proud of Colin for this incredible honor and recognition," said Greenwich HS Principal Mr. Ralph Mayo. CT State Police Nab Suspect In Fatal Stabbing Of Teen Aspiring PD Officer The latest suspect in the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old New York City boy and aspiring police officer was apprehended by Connecticut State Police on Monday. At approximately 2:36 p.m., troopers from Troop A-Southbury conducted a motor vehicle stop on I-84 eastbound near exit 13 in Southbury. Several people were in the vehicle, however, the operator was considered the 12th suspect in the Bronx homicide of Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz, Connecticut State Police said.
