Man Missing In Water Rescued By Fairfield County Police A Fairfield County man was rescued from the water by police after he was reported missing. The incident took place around 6 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9, in Westport, said Lt. Body Found On Saugatuck Shores In Fairfield County A local resident made a gruesome discovery, finding a body that had washed ashore. Police received notification of the body around 8:40 a.m. Friday when the Westport resident contacted police headquarters to report the body which had washed up on the shore of Harbor Road in Saugatuck Shores, said Westport Police Lt. Jillian Cabana. Police responded to the area and located a deceased male at the water line.
