46K+ Cybertrucks Recalled As Tesla's Financial, Political Issues Escalate Tesla is recalling more than 45,000 of its controversial Cybertrucks after a serious safety issue was discovered with their exterior paneling, the latest in a growing list of issues for the electric automaker. Tesla has issued the recall for 46,096 Cybertrucks, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. The recall impacts 2024 and 2025 models. According to the NHTSA, a stainless-steel exterior trim panel known as the cant rail may detach while driving, creating a road hazard and increasing crash risks. Toyota Issues Recall For More Than 227,000 Camrys Toyota has recalled about 227,400 cars due to an issue that could increase the risk of crashing. On Wednesday, Nov. 17, the company announced the recall of certain 2018 and 2019 Toyota Camrys. Toyota said the recalled vehicles "have a system that provides power brake assist when the driver depresses the brake pedal," and components of that system can wear and "lead to a sudden loss of power braking assist."
