Hit-Run: Motorcycle Strikes Woman In Darien, Flees Scene Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for assistance identifying a motorcycle and its driver who allegedly struck a woman in a crosswalk and fled the scene. The incident took place in Darien around 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 4 on Post Road in front of Rory’s restaurant.  According to Sgt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police Department, three motorcycles were seen driving recklessly, and one of the motorcycles hit an elderly woman as she crossed Post Road. Unlicensed Employee Charged With Larceny After Crashing Work Van In Fairfield County A Connecticut man has been charged with allegedly stealing a Ford Transit work van in Fairfield County and crashing it. Hartford County Reginald Wilson, age 74, of Rocky Hill, was arrested on Thursday, June 16, after Darien Police responded to a motor vehicle crash. The incident began when an employee working on the scene stated that a co-worker, identified as Wilson, stole keys from the work van and drove off with the 2021 Ford Transit van without his knowledge, said Sgt. Dan Skoumbros, of the Darien Police.
