Man Charged In Shelton Armed Robbery Outside Illegal After-Hours Club
A Fairfield County man has been charged in the alleged armed robbery of another man outside of an illegal after-hours club. Marquise King, age 29, of Bridgeport was charged on Tuesday, Dec. 12 in Shelton. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred in early October, said Shelton Police Lt. Robert Kozlowsky. The victim reported to police that he left an after-hours bar located in downtown Shelton and was approached by two people. The two each pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his belongings. Princess The Hairless Cat Stolen From Shelton Motel Returned To Owner Months After Theft
Princess the beloved hairless cat stolen from a Fairfield County hotel room has been returned to its owner some four months after being taken. The theft took place in Shelton on Sunday, Jan. 22 at the Hilton Garden Inn on Old Stratford Road. During the burglary, Princess was taken along with some $8,5000 in goods including Gucci and Fendi handbags, Shelton Police said. Second Arrest Made In Fairfield County Sexual Assault Case Involving Police Officer
A former Fairfield County fire captain has been arrested in connection with an alleged 2020 sexual assault that also involved an area police sergeant. John Scollin, age 34, of Shelton, turned himself in to Shelton Police on Wednesday, June 8. He was charged with first-degree sexual assault. said Lt. Robert Kozlowsky, of the Shelton Police.
