Grant Wahl, a New York City resident and soccer analyst for CBS Sports, was age 48. According to CBS News, Wahl collapsed while in the press box during the Argentina-Netherlands quarterfinal match early Saturday, Dec. 10. Covid-19: Ivy League Cancels Men's, Women's Basketball Tournaments The first Division I college basketball tournaments have been canceled due to the spread of the novel strain of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The Ivy League has canceled its men's and women's basketball conference tournaments because of concerns about COVID-19. The league made the announcement on Tuesday, March 10. The four-team tournaments were scheduled for Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  The Ivy League will award its automatic NCAA Tournament bids to the regular-season champions, the Yale men and Princeton women.

Prominent Princeton Broadcaster Herbert W. Hobler, 96, Was Bronxville Native, Stamford Raised Herbert W. Hobler, age 96, died on Aug. 10 at the Stonebridge Retirement Community in Skillman, NJ.  Born in St. Louis, and the son of Atherton W. and Ruth W. Hobler, he grew up in Bronxville, attending kindergarten through the 7th grade with Mary Fitz Randolph whom he later married in March of 1944.  A graduate of the Hill School, he was in the class of 1944 at Princeton and during World War II he served as a B-29 navigator flying missions over Japan.  Herbert W.
