A Connecticut man wanted for an alleged shooting in Fairfield County was arrested in a nearby town this week with a pistol and his 10-month-old child in the car, authorities said. Xavier Dash, 36, who was wanted on an assault with a firearm for a shooting in Bridgeport, was arrested in Stamford on Thursday, Nov. 14, police said. CT 19-Year-Old Charged With Shooting Man On City Street
A Connecticut 19-year-old was charged with assault for allegedly shooting another man on a city street last month. Bridgeport resident Maurice Beverly was arrested on Thursday, July 11, for the Sunday, June 23 incident in which a 23-year-old New Haven resident was shot on a city street in New Haven. A wanted man was taken into custody after police said he was pulled over while driving a tractor-trailer in Connecticut that contained a loaded pistol and $70,000 in cash. Tracking Device In Cash Leads Cops To CT Bank Robbers, Police Say
Two Connecticut men were nabbed for an alleged bank robbery after police were able to pinpoint a tracking device slipped in with the cash, leading them to the cash and suspects.
