CT Man Charged With Larceny In $2K Theft From Old Navy
A Connecticut man was charged on a larceny warrant after allegedly stealing more than $2,300 in goods from an Old Navy store last year. New Haven County resident Felix Vasquez, age 38, of Waterbury, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 1 in Hartford County by South Windsor Police. According to Sgt. Mark Cleverdon of the South Windsor Police, Vasquez’s charge stems from an August 2023 incident in which he was identified as the individual who stole more than $2,300 worth of merchandise from Old Navy at 101 Evergreen Way. New Barnes & Noble Opening In Danbury Fair Mall
Book and magazine fans will be able to spend hours browsing the latest editions when mega-bookseller Barnes & Noble opens its new store at the Danbury Fair Mall. The grand opening is planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12 with author Amy Poeppel cutting the ribbon and signing copies of her newest book, "The Sweet Spot," company officials said. The bookseller will relocate from Danbury Square to Danbury Fair Mall, into the space formerly occupied by Arhaus. New Target Store Coming To Port Chester
Two new Target locations are preparing to open their doors to customers in Westchester. They will be in Port Chester and Yonkers. The Port Chester store, which will be a draw both New York and Connecticut residents, is planning an 89,000-square-foot location in the Gateway Shopping Plaza at 495 Post Road which is already home to Whole Foods and Old Navy, according to store officials. The Yonkers store, the first in the city, will be 132,000-square-feet and located at the Cross Country Center, store officials added.
