New Restaurant/Club Planned At Former Site Of Infamous West Haven Bar A controversial spot for a nightclub may go live once again. An application for a restaurant liquor permit has been filed for 93 Campbell Ave., in West Haven. This address most recently hosted HerSoul, a Colombian cafe that opened in 2018. But before that, it was the infamous Peroles. Peroles restaurant slowly turned into more of a bar and nightclub over the years. Some neighbors blamed the hotspot for an increase in violence and alcohol-related incidents in the area. Peroles closed in 2018 due to family medical conditions, according to the New Haven Register.
