Fairfield County Man Robbed Of Electronics During A Distraction-Type Larceny, Police Say
Police are investigating a distraction-type larceny in which a handgun was displayed in Fairfield County.
The incident took place in Greenwich around 12:30 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 25.
According to Greenwich Police, the victim, employed locally, purchased electronics from a downtown business. The victim was followed back to his place of business, where a man identified as Oscar Arce-Runza, age 31, address unavailable, stopped and asked him for directions.

Guns, Ammo, Drugs Seized Following Chase Of Crashed Vehicle
A Connecticut man was arrested following a chase with police after an attempted traffic stop with guns, drugs, and ammunition.
The incident began around 2:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, in New Haven County, when a Meriden Police patrol officer observed an erratic driver, the department said.
The driver, identified as Julian Dudley, 27, of Meriden, after observing the police cruiser, began driving even faster in an attempt to elude the officer’s cruiser, the department said.

Norwalk PD Officer Named Northeast Traffic Safety Hero Of Year
A Norwalk police officer has been honored for his work to help keep drivers safe by being named the 2019 AAA Northeast Traffic Safety Hero of the Year.
Officer John Haggerty, a 22-year veteran of the department, was recognized along with his peers at a ceremony held on Thursday, Oct. 31, in Bridgeport, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terry Blake.
During his time with the department, Haggerty is one of the original members of the Traffic Unit, which began in 2011. During his 8 years in the unit, he has made over 1,230 drunk driving arrests and issued more 3,500 tickets for motor vehicle violat…
