Suspect In Armed Robbery At Stamford Minimart At Large Stamford Police are asking the public for help in identifying the man who robbed a minimart store. The robbery took place around 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the Mi Tierra minimart at 57 Smith St., police said. A video surveillance from the time of the robbery clearly shows the man’s face, wearing a bright orange hoodie closed tight around his face. The robber, who was said to have pulled a gun from his sweatshirt and demand cash, escaped in a white four-door car with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Anyone with information is asked to call 203-977-4417.
