ID Released For Man Found By Mother Murdered In Bethel Home The man who was found dead inside the family home by his mother has been identified by the state's chief medical examiner's office.  The office said Richard O'Dell, 42, of Apollo Road, in Bethel, died of multiple gunshots wounds to the head. Bethel Police responded to the home around 6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11, after a call from O'Dell's mother saying she believed her son had committed suicide.
