Musician Performing In Norwalk Dies On Stage An area musician and lifelong Norwalker Timothy Paul Currie died suddenly while on stage performing with his band on the Norwalk Green on Saturday, Aug. 24. Currie, 66, was well known for playing drums with the Tim Currie Motown Band and Tim Currie’s Tumblin’ Dice Band, which is a 60’s tribute band. He was also known throughout the community for his community involvement and for his passion for music and athletics, his obituary said. Lifelong Norwalk Resident Bruce Paul, Father, Coach, Dies A lifelong resident of Norwalk, Bruce McLeod Paul, died Thursday, Aug. 1 at age 67. He was born Jan. 11, 1952 in New York City, son of the late Beverly McLeod Paul and Richard Rea Paul.  Paul graduated from Norwalk High School in 1970 and received a B.S. in accounting from Post University and an M.B.A. in finance from Sacred Heart University. He began his career in finance with Xerox Corporation where he met his wife-to-be, Rhonda McCarthy. John Fairchild, Fairfield Plumbing Services Owner, Dies Suddenly At 57 John R. Fairchild, a longtime Wilton resident and the owner of Fairfield Plumbing Services, died suddenly on Monday, June 4. He was 57.  Born in Norwalk, he was the son of the late Russell and Mary Fairchild and grandson of the late Lester and Rosalie Fairchild. He graduated from Wilton High School in 1979. When not working John could be found trout fishing, tending to his garden, or paintballing. He felt blessed by the generous support of the Wilton community and was a strong advocate for the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He became involved with the Corps after they helped his father …
