Stamford Man Nabbed For Impersonating Woman, Others, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly assuming the identity of an area woman and then making sexual advances toward friends and co-workers. Pasha Torkamani, age 37, of Stamford, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 20 for the incidents which began last year, said Lt. Tom Scanlon of the Stamford Police. According to Scanlon, the department began a criminal impersonation investigation after receiving a complaint from a female victim that someone had assumed her identity and was making sexual advances toward the victim’s acquaintances and co-workers. Arrest Made In Connection To Fatal Stamford Shooting A man has been charged with the death of a 49-year-old Fairfield County resident who was gunned down on a city street last year. Ernest Rosario, age 20, of Harlem, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 16 in connection with the Dec. 2020 murder of Jeffrey Vanech, of Stamford. Vancech was found shot multiple times while he sat in a car at the corner of Henry and Cedar streets, according to Lt. Tom Scanlon of the Stamford Police.
