Route 7 Reckless Driver Caught After Four-Town Chase That Ends In NY A Hudson Valley man who took police on a high-speed chase through four towns, three in Fairfield County, that finally ended with a crash in Putnam County has been arrested two years after the event.  Daniel O'Brien, 38, of Liberty in Sullivan County turned himself into Wilton Police on May 29, after getting out of prison in connection with the chase that continued into New York and ended in Carmel, in Putnam County, according to the Wilton Police Department.
