3 Police Officers Attacked In Separate CT Incidents Three Connecticut officers were attacked over the weekend in two separate incidents. The attacks occurred on Saturday, June 29, in New Haven County in West Haven and New London County in Norwich.  In West Haven, one officer was injured when Imran Ahmed, age 54, of West Haven, allegedly deliberately crashed his vehicle into an occupied police cruiser that was helping another officer who Ahmed had been trying to run off the roadway. Woman Under Influence Charged After Two Fatally Struck While Crossing Road, Police Say A woman allegedly driving under the influence struck and killed two people while they were crossing a busy Connecticut roadway. Stonington Police said the fatal incident took place around 8:07 p.m., Saturday, March 9, at the intersection of Route 27 and Rossie Pentway in Stonington, when a vehicle driven by Carol Belli, 73, of Groton, struck and killed two people attempting to cross the roadway, said Capt.
