Laptop, Backpack Stolen From Unlocked Car In Darien, Police Say A woman in Darien became the latest to have items stolen from an unlocked car in the area as opportunistic fraudsters continue taking advantage of area residents, police said. A Herman Avenue resident reported to police on Thursday, Jan. 10 that she had been the victim of a motor vehicle burglary over the holiday season.
