Covid-19: Lamont Quarantines After Member Of Senior Staff Tests Positive Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont has gone into quarantine after a member of his senior staff tested positive for COVID-19. Max Reiss, Lamont's director of communications, made the announcement Friday night, Oct. 13. "I don't know how, or where, I contracted COVID-19, but I did," Reiss said in a statement to members of the media. "I shared with several of you that my family was self-quarantining due to an exposure my children had at school." It's the first known COVID case in Lamont's office.
