Seen him? Connecticut State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they try to locate a man involved in a hit-and-run crash outside an area courthouse. An alert has been issued for Jose Antonio Lopez, 42, who is wanted for questioning by State Police following a crash outside the Manchester Courthouse on Monday, March 2 that left two judicial marshals with injuries. Fight Breaks Out At Bridgeport Courthouse, Leading To Street Closure
State and local police were called to the Bridgeport Superior courthouse Monday after a fight broke out between the families and friends of a man being arraigned for the murder of another on Sunday. The violence broke out in the lobby of the court on Golden Hill Street where Jayvell Washington was set to be arraigned for the shooting death of 50-year-old Eugene Rogers Jr. outside the Citgo gas station on Reservoir Avenue on Sunday, officials said. Norwalk Man Charged With Failure To Appear In Greenwich
A Norwalk man wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court in a case that involved unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct was nabbed by Greenwich police while making a court appearance. Anthony Villegas, 26, was arrested Monday at the Connecticut Superior Court House by judicial marshals and then turned over to Greenwich Police, said Greenwich Lt. John Slusarz. Court records show that Villegas was arrested in January 2017 in Greenwich on charges of second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.
