Man Steals $50K From Victim In Darien After Pretending To Work At Car Dealership: Police A man faces charges after pretending to work at a BMW dealership in an effort to steal a $50,000 investment from a victim in Fairfield County, police said.  Bridgeport resident Jevene Wright, age 40, was taken into custody at Bridgeport Probation on Monday, Aug. 14 around 1 p.m. on an active arrest warrant related to an alleged larceny, according to Darien Police Sergeant Dan Skoumbros.  The warrant contained charges related to an incident reported on Tuesday, April 25. Fairfield County Man Accused Of Embezzling $80K From Auto Dealer A 34-year-old Fairfield County man was busted for embezzling more than $80,000 from a local car dealership, according to the Hamden Police. Jevene Wright of Bridgeport was arrested Monday, April 23, following an investigation into a report of embezzlement at Partyka Chevrolet, at 200 Skiff St., last November, said Capt. Ronald Smith.
