Two Hospitalized After Crash In Fairfield County Two were hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a head-on collision near a busy Fairfield County intersection, police said. Police received a call at approximately 10:22 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, where there was a report of a major crash involving an Audi A4 and Suzuki sedan in Danbury in the area of Padanaram Road and Jeanette Street. Danbury Police said that the driver of a 2014 Audi A4 was traveling north on Padanaram Road when a 2010 Suzuki Kizashi was traveling south when they collided. Person Killed As Car Becomes Engulfed In Flames In Fairfield County A car became engulfed in flames after wires fell on the vehicle, killing one person, according to the Danbury Police Department. The incident took place around 8:48 a.m. Tuesday in the area between Jeanette Street and Pembroke Road, said Det. Ralph Anderson. The person was discovered when the police department, along with the Danbury Fire Department, responded to a report of wires down in the area, said Anderson.
