Man Fleeing ICE Agents Hit By Police Car In Fairfield County
This story has been updated. A 24-year-old man was hit by a police car as he was running from federal immigration authorities who were attempting to arrest him. The incident unfolded Friday morning at the Danbury Superior Court where Samuel Cruz of Danbury was appearing in court on assault and disorderly conduct charges in connection with a domestic violence case, said Danbury Police Sgt. Fairfield County Joins Nationwide 'Families Belong Together' Rallies
Protesters turned out in Fairfield County and throughout the nation on Saturday to demand that the Trump administration reunite the divided families created by its “zero tolerance” immigration policy. Hundreds attended a "Families Belong Together" rally in Stamford.
