Marquise King, age 29, of Bridgeport was charged on Tuesday, Dec. 12 in Shelton. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred in early October, said Shelton Police Lt. Post Office Carjacker Nabbed After Foot Chase In Shelton, Police Say A man was nabbed for allegedly robbing and carjacking an elderly woman at a post office in Fairfield County. The incident occurred on Friday, April 14, at the Shelton downtown Post Office. According to Det. In late April, in Shelton, law enforcement agencies conducted unannounced compliance inspections at 17 locations to see if clerks would sell to underage buyers. Of the 17 locations, seven were found to be non-compliant and offending clerks were ticketed and fined $300.
