Man Found Dead 12 Hours After Police Respond To Report Of Shots Fired, Bridgeport Police Say A Bridgeport man was found shot dead almost 12 hours after police responded to the area on a notification of shots fired. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 26 in the 100 block of Denver Avenue. According to Captain Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police, officers responded to the area on Wednesday after receiving a ShotSpotter notification. Once on the scene, officers collected several items of evidence, conducted interviews, canvassed the area, and documented their investigation, Gilleran said. Three Killed In Shooting Inside NY Residence Police are investigating a shooting that killed three people inside a residence in New York. The incident happened on Long Island just after noontime on Friday, July 23 in Suffolk County. Officers responded to 132 Overlook Drive in Farmingville after a family member called 911 at 12:06 p.m., police said. Officers found Richard Castano, age 31, and Diamond Schick, age 24, both residents of the house, and Nyasia Knox, age 20, of Georgia, dead from gunshot wounds, police said.
