One Arrested In Fatal Hit-Run Of Renowned CT Marathon Runner, Police Looking For Second Suspect A juvenile has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run death of a popular Connecticut man who was an avid marathon runner.  Police said 53-year-old Henryk Gudelski, a much-decorated runner, was struck by a car in Hartford County in the area of Belden Street and East Street in New Britain. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Gudelski was hit by a stolen Audi out of Hartford while he was running on the sidewalk; he was hit so hard he flew across the street.
