Norwalk Man, 32, Drowns While Celebrating Birthday In Stamford In what appears to be an accident, a Norwalk man celebrating his 32nd birthday drowned in a Stamford pool on Sunday, according to Stamford Police. Michelet Mongerard was at a party with about 20 or 30 family members when one of his cousins noticed him at the bottom of the pool around 7 p.m., at 56 Greenfield Road, said Stamford Police Sgt. Kenneth Jarrett. One of Mongerard's cousins dragged him from the pool and was able to resuscitate him with CPR until medics arrived and took over, Jarrett said.
