The incident took place in New Haven around noon on Thursday, Jan. 18 when the police department received a call claiming bombs had been placed at all three locations, said the New Haven Police. Man Taken Into Custody In Connection To CT White Powder Scares, DOJ Says A New Haven man was taken into custody on Wednesday in connection with numerous incidents of white powder being mailed to several federal and state offices and community organizations.
